News (cont'd) 30 Years Old and Still Going Strong Sharetree is 30 years old in 2002. The original company was formed in 1972 by the amalgamation of DECLAN (the first UK Burn-In company) with its parent company PARAMETRON. The Company has grown from the initial concentration on component Burn-In systems (based on the Module system originally invented by Sharetree) to offer a wide range of products and services related to Product Reliablity Improvement. Systems designed for Burn-in and Life Test of Opto-electronic products are typical of more recent developments. Other product areas include Environmental Test chambers, Stress Screening systems, HALT/HASS evaluation and rental services. The Sharetree approach is summed up by Managing Director, George Coleman who says "Our philosophy throughout the 30 years of our existence has remained the same - to be technical leaders in the field of Product Reliability Improvement and offer the best possible products and services to our customers, based on our unrivalled experience."
