StressMaster-2

The StressMaster-2 test chambers are specifically designed for thermal stress testing of components and small assemblies, including HALT evaluation during product development and HASS production testing.

High airflow is used to ensure maximum coupling between the air and product under test, in order to maximise thermal stress of the product. Powerful heaters and liquid nitrogen (LN2) cooling are used to produce thermal ramp rates up to 50°C/min. Compressor cooled systems are also available where lower ramp rates are acceptable, and offer reduced running costs. Combined compressor/LN2 systems can be used to achieve economical running costs without reducing ramp rates.

Stress master chambers may be fitted with customisable product carriers to maximise loading and enable pre-loading in production environments. A proprietary feed-through connector system is available for connecting power/drive signals and external loads to the products, via the carriers. Additional connectors can also be fitted for product monitoring purposes.
