HALT - Highly Accelerated Life Testing

Design validation testing alone does not give confidence in the robustness of the design and hence the tolerance to variations in components and actual use environment. The level of robustness directly affects the product reliability.

HALT uses controlled high levels of stress to detect product weaknesses far more quickly than traditional long-term Life Testing. This dramatically reduces time-scales for product development and change evaluations. Used on pre-production units to ensure ROBUST designs.
