Humidity Testing

Products may need to operate in a wide variety of environments ranging from very dry (e.g. desert) to high humidity (e.g. jungle) conditions, as well as a range of temperatures. These conditions can cause corrosion, mould growth, electrical leakage problems, etc.

Climatic test chambers are designed to simulate these temperature and humidity levels under both steady state and cyclic conditions. Cyclic chambers can be programmed to vary temperature and humidity separately or together and even ensure condensation on the product. A number of standard conditions have been developed to simulate different types of military and commercial end use environments.
